PALM COAST FISHING - SIGHTSEEING - ECO TOURS INCLUDING DOLPHIN, SEASONAL MANATEE AND COASTAL BIRD LIFE. ADVENTURES FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY.

You will be Captain Brian's guest on a 2012 Carolina Skiff 198 DLV . The boat is powered by a Suzuki 115 and is 19 feet long and 8 feet wide, making for a very stable and safe platform that only drafts ten inches of water, allowing for hard to reach fishing holes at low tide and can comfortably seat up to six customers. Guest from Daytona Beach, Ormond Beach, Palm Coast, Crescent Beach and the St. Augustine area are welcome aboard. On fishing charters guests can expect to catch hard fighting redfish, flounder, seatrout, black drum and other seasonal gamefish on light tackle spinning gear, making for a memorable and exciting experience. Live bait will be used for all of our inshore guided fishing charters unless otherwise specified by or guests. Baits we will be using will include live shrimp, cut mullet, live mullet, mud minnows, fiddler crabs, blue crabs and whatever bait can be cast netted at the boat ramp before departure. Bait will be specific to the fish we are targeting. Fishing licenses are provided by the Captain so there is no need to go and purchase one while on the charter. Fishing gear is also provided along with all the tackle needed. We use Penn 3000 series fishing reels paired with 7 foot medium action Inshore Select Ugly Stix, which makes for a challenging and exciting fight. Guests have the option of catch and release, which we recommend or they can keep their catch as long as they are within legal limits. The Captain will filet your catch for you which you can take home and prepare or take to a local restaurant just minutes from the boat ramp, where they will prepare them for you at a nominal charge. Our sightseeing and eco tours will begin at Bings Landing County Park and head north passing by Washington Oaks State Park, Marineland,  Summerhaven on Rattlesnake Island and Fort Matanzas to the Matanzas Inlet where you can relax on a sandbar and beachcomb. Along the way you will encounter the beautiful scenery, marshes and creeks The Intercostal Waterway, or otherwise known as the Matanzas River has to offer. Depending on the season you can expect to see dolphins, manatee and bird life including osprey, eagles, egrets, great blue heron, spoonbills, terns, pelicans, white pelicans and storks. Bring along your binoculars, picnic lunch, snacks and drinks of your preference.    Whether you're looking for a laid back afternoon excursion, an exciting fishing expedition or a relaxing cruise on the Matanzas River, Captain Brian Carroll will navigate you through the beautiful waters of the Intracoastal Waterway and creeks and marshes, leaving you with memories you will want to share time and time again. Captain Brian caters each tour or trip to your individual desires and comfort. Guests should bring Sunscreen (no spray on sunscreens) , a hat, drinks, snacks and whatever medications that might be needed. Water is provided. Guests can bring their own equipment but it is best to call ahead to make sure your equipment will be matched to the fish we are targeting.
